LOCATION: BALATONFÜRED, FORRÁS SPORTS PARK
The route is mostly on new roads, through the fabulous landscapes of the Balaton highlands, several times with majestic panoramas and views of Lake Balaton.
90% of the trail will be marked out in nature, real mountain bike terrain. Most of the first section is similar to the previous short distance route, but after Cseri Castle, a big adventure begins. The return trip will be at Szentantalfa, here it is approx. half the distance.
We try to select a trail that does not have dangerous sections. However, an exciting, varied and real experience awaits you.
This time, it's not about success and ranking, but about enjoying the beauty of mountain biking in the fabulous and at the same time wildly novel landscape.
The trail is 90% steep .
The start starts from the Forrás Sportpark , and after touching Balatonszőlős, Mencshely, Szentantalfa, Dörgicse, Vászoly, Pécsely, Balatonszőlős, we roll into Balatonfüred to the finish line.
For those who are embarking on such a bike adventure for the first time, don't think that it is so easy to cover 60 km off-road with a difference in elevation of 1,200 m . Sufficient preparation is essential to complete the tour.
Of course, as before, we will do everything we can to ensure a cloudless hiking experience. A marked route, four refreshment stations, mobile SOS service, health insurance and, as usual, a finisher's medal and a bowl of pasta await you.
The Balaton Mountainbike Tour starts at Forrás Sportpark at 10:00 a.m.
